Next Generation Forensic Document Examination Suite

FORDEX PSC 360

FORDEX®, the Next Generation Forensic Document Examination Suite, provides the capability to examine all kinds of documents by integrating high-resolution camera modules with various light sources emitting different wavelengths and adjustable angles, complemented by robust software that harnesses the full potential of the device.

150x OPTICAL MAGNIFICATION

Utilize up to 150x optical magnification on a 32” monitor (or up to 240x magnification with modifier lens) together with 18MP camera module capable of capturing 160MP images.

HOMOGENEOUS LED ILLUMINATION

FORDEX enables users to uniformly illuminate the field of view through LED illumination (360nm-900nm), eliminating the need to position the document at the center of the light source.

HYPRERSPECTRAL ANALYSIS

The hyperspectral analysis software detects alterations and counterfeits on documents using an artificial coloring method.

MICRO SPECTROMETER

Real-time graphic display of absorbance, reflectance, and fluorescence values is provided using a high-quality integrated direct spectrometer, ensuring accuracy without any optical distortions.

ADJUSTABLE LIGHT SOURCES

Different angles of lighting are achieved by automatically and remotely positioning the examined document, facilitated by FORDEX’s movable subsystems and software.

3D IMAGING

The system offers high-quality 3D imaging through adjustable light sources, and its 3D imaging module enables users to capture images from 4 different angles and process them seamlessly.

Enhanced Security Features

FORDEX® possesses the capability to read e-passport chips featuring enhanced security features through its built-in RFID module. The system can automatically decode passport barcodes, analyze and reveal latent images, and analyze MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) data.   Additionally, FORDEX can continuously review the following data through regularly updated security features:

Multi-Spectral Illumination

By utilizing UV, visible wavelength lights, and infrared light sources in various combinations and directions, security elements that are normally imperceptible become visible.

For this purpose, the following reviews can be conducted:

Detecting Alterations & Counterfeits

By harnessing ultraviolet, visible region, and infrared illumination sources in diverse combinations and angles, FORDEX facilitates the detection of chemical traces, alterations, and counterfeit evidence on documents.

The integration of hyperspectral and spectrometric analysis with multi-spectral illumination enhances the examination of documents, papers, inks, and stamps.
